A Delicious Sindhi Breakfast - Dal Pakwan

Dal Pakwan is an authentic Sindhi dish made with boiled black split gram served over a crispy fried base of Pakwan.

 

Dal Pakwan Recipe:


Ingredients:

  1. Chana Dal - 1 Cup (200 grms)

  2. Tomato - 1

  3. Green Coriander - 2 to 3 tbsp

  4. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp

  5. Green Chilli - 3

  6. Red Chilli - 2

  7. Ginger - 1/2 inch

  8. Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp

  9. Coriander Powder - 1 tsp

  10. Asafoetida - 1/2 pinch

  11. Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp

  12. Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp

  13. Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp

  14. Salt - 1 tsp

For Pakwan:

  1. Refined Flour - 1.5 cups (250 grm)

  2. Carom Seeds - 1/4 tsp

  3. Oil - 3 tbsp

  4. Salt - more than 1/4 tsp
