If you are serving your dough balls with garlic butter, prepare this while the balls are in the oven baking .Simply mix the (room temperature) ingredients for the garlic butter together while the dough balls are baking in the oven. Alternatively, serve the dough balls with Nutella (although perhaps that’s not so successful if you’re serving them as a starter

Macaroni Hot Pot Recipe:


Ingredients:

  1. Tomatoes, large - 3

  2. Mozzorella Cheese, grated - 1/4 cup

  3. Processed Cheese, grated - 1/4 cup

  4. Butter - 1 tbsp

  5. Onion rings - 1/2 cup

  6. Capsicum, cut into rings - 1 cup

  7. Crushed Garlic - 1/2 tbsp

  8. Chilli Powder - 1 tsp

  9. Salt to taste

  10. Cooked Shell Macaroni - 1/2 cup

  11. Baked Beans, small can - 1 (225 grams)

  12. Tomato Ketchup - 3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put the tomatoes in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Cool slightly, remove the skin and grate them to make tomato pulp. Keep Aside.

  2. Combine the mozzarella cheese and processed cheese and keep aside.

  3. Put the butter in another microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Add the onion rings and microwave high for 1 minute.

  4. Add the capsicum rings and microwave on high for 2 minutes.

  5. Keep a few rings of onion and capsicum aside for garnish.

  6. Add the garlic, tomato pulp and chilli powder, mix well and microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring once in between after 1 minute.

  7. Add the macaroni, baked beans, tomato ketchup and salt and mix well.

  8. Arrange capsicum and onion rings, sprinkle the cheese on top and microwave on high for 3 minutes.

  9. Serve Immediately.
