Dosa Bonda, Paniyaram, Peanut & Tomato Chutney Combo!

Dosa Bonda is delicious Indian Recipe served as a snack.


Dosa Bonda Recipe + Chutneys:


Ingredients: (Dosa Bonda)

  1. Boiled Potatoes - 4

  2. Ginger chilli paste - 1 1/2 tbsp

  3. Sambhar Masala - 2 tbsp

  4. Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp

  5. Asafoetida (Hing) - 1 tsp

  6. Dry mango powder - 1 1/2 tsp

  7. Salt to taste

  8. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

  9. Split Black gram - 2 tbsp

  10. Oil - 1 tbsp

  11. Dosa Batter - 1 1/2 cup

  12. Besan - 1/4 cup

  13. Water - as per required

Ingredients: (Peanut Coconut Chutney)

  1. Roasted Peanuts - 1/2 cup

  2. Coconut, grated - 1/2 cup

  3. Red Chilli - 6

  4. Garlic - 1 flake

  5. Tamarind - a small pinch

  6. Salt - add as per required

To Temper

  1. Oil - 1 tsp

  2. Mustard - 1/2 tsp

  3. Urad Dal - 1 tsp

  4. Curry Leaves - 1 sprig

Instructions:

  1. Adjust the red chillies in few drops of oil until it is roasted. Cool down and take peanuts, roasted chillies, coconut, garlic, tamarind and salt in a mixer

  2. First grind without adding water. Later, add water to make a smooth chutney

  3. Heat kadai, add oil splutter mustard, add urad dal and curry leaves. Mix in with chutney

Notes:

  • Adjust the red chillies as per your spice level. Colour changes accordingly.

  • Ratio of peanuts and coconut can be flexible according to the availability and your preference.

  • Instead of garlic, you can add a small piece of ginger and add asafoetida while tempering.

  • Make sure to use a fresh stock of peanuts as old stock wont taste nice.
